Borderlands 4
Putting the absolutely horrible movie aside, Borderlands is a series that has yet to miss, in my opinion. Every main entry in the series was amazing, and I personally liked all of the DLCs, including Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, which I know some gamers didn't really love. We still don't have any concrete information about Borderlands 4; we just know the game will be out in 2025.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6
Okay, I'm going to be honest—I haven't enjoyed a Call of Duty game in a very long time. I don't play Warzone, and the past few entries in this series were lackluster, to say the least. However, I still hold hope that this series can go back to what it once was. We got an extended look at a Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 mission that looked like it came straight out of a '90s action movie. Is it enough to convince me that Call of Duty is back? No, not really, but a nerd can dream, can't he?

Goat Simulator Remastered
If there's one thing those Goat Simulator folks do well, it's trailers. The first trailer turned their game from a one-off joke into the talk of the town. Their second trailer made fun of the whole "RTX on" thing by filming a real goat and claiming it's ray-traced, and the third trailer was pretty much a shot-for-shot remake of one of the greatest game trailers of all time (Dead Island 2's "I'm a bomb and I'm about to go off").
This time we got a long and very weird trailer filled with tons of references to all of gaming's greatest hits. It turned out to be a remaster of the first game that will include all previously released DLC from the PC version, the previously mobile-exclusive GoatVille High map, reworked mutators, and improved graphics.

Lost Records: Bloom and Rage
If you liked Life is Strange, you will probably like this one too. Don't Nod brings us another narrative-driven adventure that will likely have its own supernatural twist. The graphics look like a step up from previous games (even though the lip syncing is still pretty rough). The game will launch in two parts next year for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Tape 1 arrives on February 18, and Tape 2 will follow on March 18, 2025.

Path of Exile 2
My brother was a fanatic Diablo player; he spent months and months on that game, and then he did the same when Diablo 2 came out. However, Diablo 3 and 4 have not given him the same rush. Something just didn't click with him (maybe he's just getting old). Well, I think Path of Exile 2 might just pull him back in. It's a step forward from Diablo (as opposed to more of the same), and on top of that, it's free-to-play! Path of Exile 2 will enter early access on November 15 and will be available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

King of Meat
Fall Guys was (and still is) a great game; however, it has kind of lost its original charm. Well, move over cute little beans—it's time for a 'meatier' version of, basically, the same game. King of Meat is a hacking, slashing online co-op spectacle that also allows you to build and share your own levels. Looks fun!

Reanimal
Tarsier Studios revealed their new game Reanimal, which, unsurprisingly, looks a lot like Little Nightmares—and that's because it's made by the same creators. It features two little kids being chased in the dark by nightmarish animals. We also got a glimpse of Little Nightmares 3, developed by Supermassive Games, which also features two little kids being chased in the dark by nightmarish creatures. So… good times for fans of the genre.

Dune Awakening
While I was hoping for a modern remake of the amazing Dune RTS from 1998, Funcom showcased their upcoming survival MMO called Dune Awakening, and I must say it looks pretty amazing. It seems you can do everything in this game—explore, fight, build, form alliances, trade, and wage jihad, all while mining spice and attracting huge sandworms. I'm into this!

Batman: Arkham Shadow
One of the best experiences I ever had in VR was the very short Batman: Arkham VR experience on the PlayStation. And while it was fun, it was very limited and, again, very short. Well, a new Batman VR game is arriving, this time for the Quest 3, and it looks absolutely amazing! Let's just hope it's a full-length game this time.

Secret Level
Okay, while technically not a game, this is one of the best announcements of the entire show. The creators behind Love, Death & Robots—one of the best TV shows of the past decade—are making an anthology series focused on stories centered around existing and new video games. The list of games featured is mind-blowing:
- Concord
- Crossfire
- Dungeons & Dragons
- Exodus
- Honor of Kings
- Mega Man
- New World: Aeternum
- PAC-MAN
- PlayStation (Spotlighting beloved entities from various PlayStation Studios)
- Sifu
- Spelunky
- The Outer Worlds
- Unreal Tournament
Unreal F&%ng Tournament! Can you believe it?

Indiana Jones and The Great Circle
The new Indiana Jones game is shaping up to be one of my most anticipated games of the year. The move to first-person, while a little jarring at first, seems to be a very good call and a way to keep the game from being compared to Uncharted or Tomb Raider. The graphics are great, Troy Baker is great, and it just looks and feels like the good old Indiana Jones movies I love so much.
Indiana Jones and The Great Circle will launch on PC and Xbox Series X|S on December 9, and it'll land on PS5 in Spring 2025.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Finally, if you have some time to spare, take 25 minutes out of your day to watch this amazing gameplay from Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. The first game was an absolute masterpiece, and the sequel looks just as good. The game is set to release on February 11, 2025. Can't wait!
