Becoming a cat parent changes your life forever.
Once you invite a furry feline into your home purrmanently, you're likely to experience a few major changes in the house. You'll never go to the bathroom at 2 AM all alone again, you'll enjoy picking fur off of your t-shirts, and suddenly a cat tree seems like a fengshui addition to your living space. Your cat becomes a staple in your everyday life and you'll wonder how you lived such a lonely life before.
But for those of us too afraid to commit ourselves to love one cat for the rest of our lives, we scatter our cat-loving spirit all over town, dousing strays and neighborhood cats with more love than they know how to handle. For one New York City woman named Sydney, sharing her cat-loving spirit with every feline that would accept her was her favorite pastime.
After discovering that her local bodega was housing a pregnant feline, she instantly decided to become a regular customer. Mimi, the grey floof in question, was due to birth her kittens in about a month, so on a daily basis, Sydney frequented the convenience store, finding any excuse to come in for a quick pet and a cuddle session with Mimi.
Finally, Mimi made it clear that she'd chosen Sydney as her official kitty godMEOWther, fulfilling a sacred position of love and trust in the feline world. Looks like Sydney won't have to become a cat mom to enjoy the same honorable duties of loving a kitty (and her babies) unconditionally. Scroll for the entire wholesome saga!
