Entitled Karen 1 and Karen 2 berate innocent vacationers when they sit in chairs the Karens ‘reserved’ 10 hours prior, despite not having used them once that day

Vacations are for chillaxing by the pool with your favorite people. Count on Karen to make sure your time at a resort is spent wondering why certain people are the way they are. To get more specific, why Karens are absolutely miserable and yearning to make others miserable, too.

Seriously, the entitlement is baffling. The thing about vacation is that you get to escape all of the unnecessary drama and annoyances of normal life. Nobody is tugging on your pant leg asking for something from you and you saved all your PTO for two weeks of paradise. Something is always lurking around the corner…

The OP of this story is expressing grief over a Resort Karen (capitalizing for dramatic effect) who reserved lounge chairs at five o'clock in the morning. OP waited hours to see if the lounge chairs (reserved using towels) were being used, and once the 10-hour mark rolled around, OP and their partner decided to move the towels and sit down. Cue Karen and Karen II, claiming they reserved the chairs (despite there being a no-claim policy), shouting profanities, and trying to drag OP's chairs away. Backing down is easier than entertaining, so OP and their partner left. They are at a loss given the entitlement of humankind followed them all the way to Mexico.
