As we start to feel that refreshing gust of cool wind to start off Autumn, homebodies everywhere are rejoicing and thanking the weather gods for another excuse to stay inside.
Sometimes, or all the time, we want to be in the comfort of our own homes while the extroverted adventurers take on the day in public. Sounds boring. I, like many of you, opt for a pizza night in watching reruns of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and playing games on my phone. Though apple picking and haunted hayrides very well might be a good time, couch rotting is free and gets the job done.
I respect our in-public crusaders, doing what has to be done for the sake of human connection. Anyone is invited to the homebody's house if they dare enter the idyllic paradise that the introvert has created for themselves. Just don't ask them to go for a walk, because the answer will more often than not be "no". Scroll ahead if you're looking forward to Halloween movie marathons when the sun starts setting earlier and you actually have excuses to be wrapped up in your favorite blankie all evening long.
