Howdy there, hearty hoomans! We have a question for you today – We want to know how you handle the mornings with your lovely doggos?
No matter what we do, our little pup is always mad at us when we have to inevitably leave our house and go to work for the day. Even if we wake up hours before actually having to leave, and spend the entire morning cuddling him, going on a walk, and giving him treats, he still looks betrayed when we say our goodbyes.
So now we are wondering if the better approach might be to not get him excited in the morning, take a simple, chill walk at the start of the day, and then quietly leave when he is more relaxed and hasn't properly started his day. Maybe this way he will not notice as much that we have to leave him alone until his dog walker arrives in the afternoon.
Either way, he gets all the love as soon as we get home from work and forgets all about the morning drama, which we are grateful for.
