Since the dawn of newer social media sights, Facebook has had to up its game. It used to just be them and Myspace competing on connecting friends online, and we all know who won that race. (We think Tom won because he grabbed his bag and got out. We miss you, Tom! A friend to all.) Now, there are several extremely popular social media sites on the web and Facebook is struggling to catch up. It is now known to be a social media site for older folks. And with older folks inevitably comes some hilarious technical difficulties…
Recently, a Facebook user went to Reddit to confess her embarrassing Facebook faux pas. A friend posted a status update about the birth of their new baby. It was a joyous occasion that everyone was commenting congrats on. There were many heart and thumbs-up reactions and lots of supportive friends in the comments. This woman, however, went to type that the baby was "adorable" but accidentally autocorrected to "adopted." She didn't notice for hours and sent her entire friend group into a tizzy.
Now, others have come to the Reddit rant to share their funny/embarrassing Facebook fail. Is autocorrect out to get us??
