I don't know about all of you, but I feel like my memory has worsened over the last couple of years. I'm still pretty good at remembering random things (I'm obsessed with dates and can remember what I was doing in November 2011), but lately, practical memories like names of people and businesses have been evading me. There will always be tricks for remembering things better (I basically always reference a celebrity or character when someone tells me their name in the hope that it will stick), but if your memory is deteriorating, no amount of active listening and word association will save you from the humiliation of asking someone's name for the 5th time. If you can't remember your old address or the name of your 1st-grade teacher for your security questions, there is no need to fear.
