It's important to find your people. You're born with family, but you must find your friends, and it can take a lifetime to hone. When you're a kid the other kids that you're around are usually by happenstance. They're classmates at your school, or neighbors, or kids of your parent's friends. If you're lucky, one or two of these random kids might become your people. As you get older, it becomes easier to self-select. You join clubs and groups related to your interests, and those become easy places to find people you might get along with.
But it's an everlasting journey and an important one at that. But once you have your people, you know it. You can relax around them, be yourself, and not have to worry about being judged. And when they're not around, memes are a good stand-in. They see you, they get you, and they're here for you.
