Make sure to read those online reviews before you book a hotel. It might save you some time and money! Or, like these people below, it might spare you the myriad issues that can occur in a hotel, from bedbugs to awful breakfast menus.
I feel for the staffers at the "pool room" hotel (see #2). As you can see in the photo, there's a pool table on top of what looks like a covered-up swimming pool. The staffers must constantly have angry guests yelling about the pool room not having a pool. They can reply that it does have pool, but not a pool. It could easily turn into a "Who's on first" Abbott-and-Costello-style gag! There's no hotel guest who's eagerly awaiting a billiards game, but plenty who will be disappointed when they can't go for a refreshing swim.
Speaking of trying to be refreshed, one person discovered that they were too tall for the shower, even though they're only 5'7". The shower head must've been installed at about five-ish feet off the ground, so that'll work for only a select group of people (and kids). That's not even the worst thing to happen to people at hotels, so you can check out the rest of these wild hotel stays below.
After that, this designer purse shopper tried her hardest to lie her way into a big discount.

The original poster shares that this isn't a nuclear power plant, even though it sure looks like one! Instead, they and other commenters speculated that it's actually a coal or gas plant. And that's…. also not an ideal spot for a hotel.
Ok ready for the answer?
The original poster, u/njkauto reveals that "There's maybe 4 mostly whole chips, the rest is tiny bits. No prices in the room. Called front desk and they said $6.99." Sheesh! They're really running a racket there! And they somehow found the strangest way to package those 4 chips.
Don't strain your eyeballs, here's what the ugly and very large fridge sticker reads: "ATTENTION: ACTIVE SENSORS. THE MINIBAR IS NOT FOR PERSONAL USE AND IS SENSORY ACTIVATED. A $50 per stay service fee will be applied for storing personal items or altering existing items within the minibar. Refrigerators for personal use are available for a daily fee. Please press the Guest Services button on your hotel phone for assistance. Please scan the QR code for pricing." (Of course there's a QR code!)
