"But it scratches everything" is like- the worst excuse ever to declaw a cat. If your cat is attacking people… hurting them, you still should not do it, but we could at least understand why you would think about it. Scratching things… that's what cats do! Just have to get them more things to scratch.

There are so many other things that you can try first. You can get your cat cute nail caps. trim your cat's nails - and there are a million ways to do that right. We know these solutions might not seem ideal either, but it's your job to find a solution that works, it's not the cat's job to suffer because you didn't.
