"There are so many cats that need homes, whether those homes are on land or on the sea."
The cat distribution system works in the strangest ways. Sometimes, they really do find you when the time is right. If you're a traveling pet lover, I'm sure you've seen a stray kitten running amock in the streets of your destination. You know you shouldn't take them—it will be “too much work”—but something in you is drawn to the furry feline. So instead of listening to that voice in your head, you lead with your heart and give this kitten a chance at a better, more fulfilling life. True pet pawrent love can defy all odds, and that's what we see in this story.
A sailing couple was vacationing in Greece when they decided to adopt a furry, purrfect orange kitten with some cattitude and a lot to prove. They tell us the story how how they adjusted her to an exceptionally pawesome life at sea, teaching her how to use a harness, kitten-proofing the entire boat for her safety, and some unplanned dips in the dinghy. They boast that she is one of the most hissterical cats they've ever seen, and make sure to let the viewers know that whether on land or on the sea, you, too, can make a difference in a cat's life. All you have to do is dive in head first (much like Madeline when she jumped into the water because she saw ice cream in it).
