When we get into the groove of things without partners, it's sometimes difficult to find a sweet spot between complacency, normalcy, and excitement. For those especially in monogamous relationships, this sweet spot could be even a bit scary to embark on. Though random spurts of boredom in relationships are nothing to be ashamed of, how either partner works through this boring period can tell you much more about your relationship than you think. The woman in this story is seeking advice after a weekend away at a wedding with her husband, his old buddies, and their wives. One of his friends brought a woman he had been seeing for only about two weeks, Jess, and the woman expressed that Jess made no effort to hang out with the rest of the ladies. Throughout the entire weekend, the woman's husband could not stop talking about Jess, complimenting her alone and in front of his wife, and even had remnants of glitter from Jess's dress on his lip.
