Welcome back ladies and gentlemen of the internet. Usually when two people get to the stage of their relationship when they've already planned their wedding, you assume you know a person, and that things are pretty stable. You assume you know anything about them that would be a deal breaker, but with some people, these things take time.
Take this Reddit story as an example: the couple is engaged to be married and making all their wedding preparations. The woman finds out that her fiance's ex has been invited to the wedding. He claims it's his family that invited her, that it's 'tradition' to invite exes if they've stayed close to the family. Sounds a little ridiculous to me.
Even after this woman has expressed her discomfort with the situation, her fiancé still chooses his ex over her, saying it would be 'rude' to uninvite her. Now his true colors show, and his priorities in life. I don't blame her for leaving.
