Welcome back internet ladies and gentlemen. Never before in the history of man did people have so many inexplicable and unexplainable issues surrounding food. There isn't just lactose intolerant anymore. From peanut allergies, to vegetarianism, veganism, and gluten free, when hosting a dinner party these days it can be impossible to account for everybody's restrictions. I once even heard a woman say she can't have garlic. People are coming up with everything in the book and claiming they can't digest it. Some of it is definitely real, but some isn't.
In this particular Reddit story, this woman has severe Celiac, and at her husband's family dinners, she says she 'can't' eat this or that. This upsets another family member; she claims she's instilling unhealthy ideas about food into her child's head. I hate to break it to this woman, but being obsessive about food around your child will also have that effect. But read the full story to pick whose side you're on.
