Did you know that over 90% of Wikipedia articles eventually lead to the Philosophy article? Basically, if you keep clicking on the first non-italicized link on each new article, ignoring external links or red links, you will most likely happen upon the Philosophy entry. It is not known exactly why this occur, although there are some theories, with the most popular being that it is an effect of most Wikipedia pages beginning with the definitional statement, directly answering the question, "what is (subject?" There is even a Wikipedia article about this phenomenon, by the way, where I got most of this information from. In any case, Wikipedia is an indispensable treasure trove of information. Most of use growing up were likely advised not to use it as a source for essays and homework given that it can be edited by just about anyone, but it does typically provide a great list of sources. It is apparently also an amazing source of entertainment as it is rife with informative articles about the strangest and most bizarre facets of the human experience. Enjoy this collection below of the weirdest that Wikipedia has to offer.
