Hey, fellow millennial animal enthusiasts, and everyone else. Growing up, I had a few go-to super fast meals for when neither parent was in the mood to cook. Those consisted of very delicious and nutritious lunchable meals, some kind of breakfast for dinner variation riff with eggo waffles, and hot pockets. Now for those who aren't familiar with the fantastic meal that is a hot pocket, it's essentially a brand of microwaveable turnovers generally containing one or more types of cheese, meat, or vegetables. Yes, it's just as delicious (in retrospect) as it sounds.
Pop one of those bad boys in the microwave and grab a bag of chips to go along with it and you've got yourself a meal. And a very decent one at that, or so I thought at age 10. Anyway, I write animal meme listicles for a living these days, so you could say I had a pretty successful childhood despite the subpar nutrition choices. Enjoy a whole bunch of silly animal memes to eat up with your hot pockets and potato chips!
