Mother Tries to Sabotage Her Daughter's Wedding by Putting Lilies in the Bouquets Despite Her Allergy, Potentially Ruining Their Relationship Forever

Just about everyone suffers from some type of allergy. The most common non-food related allergies are pollen and animal dander. While allergic reactions range, in most people these are fairly mild and typically non-lethal but still incredibly annoying to deal with. Some people look like they are constantly crying when springtime rolls around, and others can't get a word in through sneezes when they visit their cat-owner friend's house. Thankfully, there is a selection of over-the-counter medicines to help combat these allergies. There are also specific dog breeds that are considered to be allergy-friendly, such as the maltese and the poodle, as well as flowers that produce very little pollen. One such flower is the lily. However, if you are allergic to the specific flower itself, and not the pollen it produces, then having a bouquet of stargazers, tiger lilies, and orienpet lilies will still trigger your immune system. 

In our story today, a narcissistic mother who could not stand to see her daughter's happiness and success, attempted to sabotage the event by putting together flower arrangements that heavily featured lilies-- the very flowers that her daughter was allergic to. Whether our protagonist just gets itchy eyes or fully breaks out in hives in the presence of lilies is irrelevant. No one should have to deal with any kind of allergy on their wedding day, especially not one triggered purposefully by a malicious mother.
