On their special day, the bride and the groom typically call the shots (meddling family members and friends aside), and their happiness, joy, comfort, and satisfaction is of the utmost importance. However, weddings and wedding receptions are, at their core, parties. Thus, to have a successful wedding, one must be a good host and make sure that wedding guests are comfortable so that they can celebrate the couple with full enthusiasm. At the same time, a bride and groom must keep in mind that they will never be able to satisfy everyone completely. Aunt Gina will hate the color scheme because it reminds her of her estranged uncle, your teenage nephews will try to goad the DJ into playing Bad Bunny even though the wedding playlist is 80s music, and some plus ones might be upset that they were not included in the wedding party photos. C'est la vie. But the least you can do is make sure that everyone is fed and hydrated.
This was not the case in our story today as many wedding guests were left wanting of food. Perhaps the bride and groom tried to cut costs by calculating the food by the number of guests instead of overestimating as is always the safer option. Better to have leftovers than hungry guests! Even though our protagonist was pretty sassy, the end of this story is as heartwarming as a hot slice of pizza.
