As an avid ‘It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ binge-watcher, I figured there had to be more people out there like me. Why is it that we feel such a strong connection to ill-mannered individuals like Dennis, Charlie, Mac, Frank, and my favorite, Sweet Dee? They are representations of the most absurd traits of humanity, and it's a satiating form of indulgence to be an observer in the wacky schemes they get themselves into (and allow us to live absurdly vicariously through them). From Frank and Charlie sharing a pull-out futon and eating cat food for breakfast to Dee forever trying to chase her dream of being a comedienne, the group provides us with all the laughter we need.
They brought the Danny Devito lovers into their viewership in season two, but they've had OG fans' hearts since the pilot episode.
