Isn't it wild to think about the fact that we can be nostalgic to an era that was dominated by computers, gadgets and video games? It seems like so much time has passed and yet nothing has really changed. Obviously today's technology is far more advanced than what we had back in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s but is it really that different? The internet was slow, but it was there. Computer screens could display 256 colors (at best), yet they still transported us into dynamic, virtual worlds. If you looked hard enough (and had enough money to spend), you could even find touchscreens, laptops, and even robots!
We were the first generation to grow up with high tech, and it's becoming more and more obvious that this "trend" isn't going anywhere. The world is just getting more technological, and we were there to see it all begin. It makes us feel a little old, but somehow young at the same time.
