Whatever path you take in life, you're bound to be overwhelmed and stressed. Anyone who says that working around the clock is unobtrusive to their health is a liar, and anyone who claims that motherhood is a picturesque walk in the park is either childless or a man. Being alive is stressful, and just because you're doing something fulfilling doesn't mean that you can't get burnt out from it.
One childless Gen Zer recently went viral on Twitter for sharing her theory about the future of women. She claimed that the divide between childless girl bosses and stay-at-home moms would become even starker within the next 10-20 years, with fewer women choosing to work and have children. Unsurprisingly, she thinks that the stay-at-home mom path is the correct choice women should be making and that any career ambitions they pursue will leave them unhappy and unfulfilled. Who's going to tell her that both paths are difficult and fulfilling?
