I will never understand why people are so reluctant to do the right thing when it comes to relationships. I get that sometimes it is hard, to be honest with yourself and your partner, but surely being honest is so much better for both people than leading each other on and wasting your time.

The couple in this Reddit story needed to have this conversation probably long ago, but the boyfriend held back, and that led to an even bigger heartbreak when his girlfriend discovered all the lies he told her.
