When did reading become a… trend? I don't know why or how, but I'm kind of glad it did. Folks all over the internet are bonding over their favorite page-turners, and forming little online communities around the novels they love. People are buying Kindles at a breakneck pace and even getting accessories to trick them out. There are thousands of pages on Instagram and TikTok full of hyper-specific recommendations, and so many women I know have lost at least a few days inside the depths of something written by Sarah J. Maas.
