Going out to eat can be expensive. But going out to eat in good company is priceless. You may cringe when the bill comes and think to yourself that you could've held off on that last drink, but in all, if it was a good time, the bill is probably the last thing on your mind. But the worst are the kind of friends who complain about prices and make a point to get something small because it's all too expensive. If a meal is too expensive, you simply do not have to go out to eat. Or at least keep your opinions to yourself so you don't inflict your negative energy onto the rest of the group. And definitely don't do what this entitled friend did. She chose not to order while they were all at breakfast, claiming the morning sickness from her pregnancy was making her queasy. This is a completely valid excuse, and her friends even offered to share so she could have a few bites instead of sitting there hungry.
