If anything can be learned from the unbelievable success garnered by The Sims franchise, it's that there are a lot of people out there who have control issues that they relish taking out on characters in video games. We should probably find this worrying, but it has also gifted the Sim gamers of the world countless hours of entertainment over the years. The idea of a virtual dollhouse is a very clever one, and people have yet to show signs of tiring of it. Those who do get bored can reignite their passion for the tiny people in their computer with a bunch of memes that have been created about the topic. As you might expect from a gaming community with a passion for storytelling, the humor can be pretty darn funny—almost as funny as finding creative new ways for your sims to meet an untimely end. It's difficult to get better than that.
