There are things you do as a parent that you probably never anticipated doing in your adult life. For example, you probably thought you'd never have to know what Skibidi Toilet is or means, but if you have a child who is so inclined, you might be deeply familiar with the term. You also probably never thought you'd spend the better part of an afternoon trying to find a tiny stuffed elephant that is apparently the alpha and omega of your child's happiness. And you most definitely didn't anticipate that Bluey would genuinely become one of your favorite TV shows. But here you are anyway.
When you become a parent, you're still you, obviously, but you also take on a whole other identity, one that revolves around the needs and wants of a tiny human who might look a little like you. But one thing that's still just for you: parenting tweets. Kids need not scroll.
