As human animals, we crave the approval of others. We want our mom, 2nd-grade teacher, and enemies to think we're doing exceptionally well in all areas of life. Of course, wanting to do well for your own sake is more important than pursuing the high praises of others, but that doesn't stop us from doing so. We're so complex; we can do both! But it's a double-edged sword: sometimes, all that work spent on getting approval can get you down.
If you were something more abstract (let's say a meme), you wouldn't care about the feelings of others. You wouldn't care if someone thought you were "cringe" or "dated." You wouldn't even have the privilege (or curse) of consciousness. You could literally just exist, floating around the internet, not giving a heck what people or other memes think of you. If you want some wholly un-self conscious memes, you've come to the right place.
