Do you remember the first time you were introduced to Harry Potter?
Whenever I become a fan of a book, a movie, or a show, I always enjoy looking back at my first experience with it and thinking about how that pivotal moment might have affected my life.
My experience with Harry Potter was quite a journey. I remember being 9 or 10 and walking into my sister's bedroom while she was watching Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, and it was right at the scene in which Quirrell reveals Voldermort on the back of his head. I remember watching that moment and being so scared, that I ran out of the room. I even had nightmares about it later.
It took me years to overcome my fears and give Harry Potter another chance, and I am glad that I did because I don't know where I would have been today if it wasn't for the experiences that Harry Potter gave me.
