Most of the time the Internet is a dark and dreary place. Lots of news headline that feels like the end is near, weird cringe posts that make you question humanity, and trends that should just never have existed. EXCEPT for the animal content. Most of the animal content you can find on the internet is wholesome and adorable. Animal rescue videos of humans throwing caution to the wind just to rescue some stray dog stuck in a well or something. People getting chosen by stray kittens and then becoming the purrfect fur family. It's a great optimistic and uplifting balance to the other downer Internet content.
Recently, a video to go viral is of a tiny ‘hippo’ dog. She was rescued and covered in mange. She was in horribly rough shape. She got rescued and put in the care of a loving foster family who documented her “glow up"—they even named her Gloria aka Glo, to represent her “glo up.” The video has since gone viral and she has had SO many adoption applications that they had to put a halt them coming in. Hopefully her viralness finds her the best furever home because she deserves it!
