Wholesome Zookeeper Rescues Otter From the Wild, the Otter Clings to the Hooman As His Mother, Gets Adorably Upset When He Leaves for Vacation

Friends, we were not ready for this level of wholesomeness on a Monday morning. We love otters - we love that they hold hands when they're sleeping, we love that they hold their favorite rocks with them all the time, and we love watching them stack things. Don't ask us why. Anyway, we found a cute rescue story of an otter that was saved by a zookeeper, and the otter bonded to this hooman like his own mother. They became inseparable. But one day, the zookeeper went on vacation, and the otter became very sad.

The otter almost stopped eating and playing altogether. However, as soon as the zookeeper came back, this fuzzy friend sprung back to life and clung to the leg of his hooman friend. We can't stand to see animals sad - it breaks our hearts. We're so glad that this wholesome hooman rescued this poor baby otter and that they formed such a familial bond. Animals deserve our love and attention as much as hoomans, maybe even more.
