Nobody likes an entitled Karen, yet they run rampant in the streets. They're in front of the cash register, insulting the youths, and spearheading every HOA initiative. Why? Why is there such a large influx of haughty older women obsessed with being right and getting their way?
Personally, I can't speculate why there are Karens out there, but I can mitigate my attitude when faced with a Karen to vanquish their positively pompous attitudes properly. Karens hate being wrong, but when you're a witty adversary, dancing circles around their linear logic, it's actually quite simple to come out on top.
So the next time you're head-to-head with your HOA president asking you to trim your front lawn to the appropriate length, consider annihilating her audacity at the source and disrupting her pride with a few snarky comments. And just like the Wicked Witch of the West, you'll toss an entire bucket of steaming hot insults that'll make her melt instantly, proving that the only flying monkey in this neighborhood drives a minivan, insists on using expired coupons, and insults every local waitress.
