The first Inside Out movie was a smash hit grossing close to $900 million in 2015. This past week, Pixar's sequel surpassed its first film of the same name, bringing over $1 billion. It's no shocker that a movie about feelings would get us in our feels, but these reactions illustrate just how wholesome and heartwarming the Inside Out franchise is.
Inside Out 2 has the likes of a speculative-coming-of-age-cartoon hybrid ball of goodness. Between navigating life as a young teen and dealing with feelings you may have never felt before, the film has proved itself to be a real tear-jerker. Take a look at some screen captures of my favorite reactions, none of which feature young children. Hey, I don't judge. Pixar is for everyone! And so is growing up. Okay okay, I'll stop now.
