Try as we might to look on the bright side of life, sometimes everything is a major bummer. We don't want to be bombarded with messages full of sunshine and positivity, we want the space to reflect, wallow, and be miserable. In this case, we're in luck, because there are more than enough memes out there that desire nothing more than to spread a negative message. Like it or not, everybody is going to experience hard times at some point. It makes finding the humor in it all the more necessary, something that memes on just about every topic set out to do. The ones that we can find here acknowledge that there are times when things are difficult and that there is a dose of self-pity in order. When you see the funny side in this, it can allow the burden to be a little lighter on everybody involved.
