Nothing is going to get in the way of my perfect summer. I'm not going to let boys, my job, or my anxiety-ridden personality stand in the way of me having a good time. Enough of the hot girl summers. What about carefree summers? I'm using this summer to fully live in the moment. Not that summer is the only time of year where you can or should relax, but I'm using this summer as an excuse to do just that.
Sometimes the less you do, the more you are doing for your soul. Indulge in all the seasonal excitement summer has to offer. I'm finding the nearby pool and bringing my kindle to unplug this weekend. I'm promising to say no more often to things I don't want to do this summer and to friends I already see too often. I'm redefining what actually makes me happy.
