Social justice advocate claims babies on planes should require a doctor's note stating they won't cry: 'If the baby cries penalties and charges need to be applied'

Nobody likes to hear a baby crying on an airplane. It's one of the most irritating things that can happen to you as a passenger, beyond the flight attendant spilling hot coffee all over your crisp white shirt. While I do sympathize with passengers who have to sit next to a crying baby on an 18-hour flight, I also want them to get a little bit of a grip. It is not the 1960s. Headphone technology has evolved to the point where nearly every citizen has noise-canceling headphones, whether they need them or not. If you're not able to turn on your music during a flight when a baby's crying, I'm a little concerned that you don't have any coping skills for annoying situations. 

One anonymous person recently posted a so-called solution to the problem of babies crying on planes: make doctors write notes saying that babies won't cry and then fine the parents if they do.
