I remember my first date. The nerves made me feel like I was electric. I'm pretty sure you know what I mean. The multiple “what ifs” and self-doubts. The biggest hurdle is meeting your lucky someone, the rest is likely a piece of cake. There is nothing like your typical first-date jitters. Everything about it: from picking out an outfit to impress your potential soulmate to practicing talking points so you don't get stuck in the dreaded awkward silences. Meeting new people is always a bit daunting, especially because first impressions have an impact on how people will perceive you. You might be thinking that you've had your fair share of weird dates, but some of these stories left me speechless. Like, staring at my computer wondering what some people were thinking.
