Whenever a cat is just sitting there staring at nothing and meowing, something is happening. Just because you can't see it, doesn't mean it's not. Cats are definitely otherworldly creatures who can see in other dimensions. Perhaps they're meowing at the ghost of your passed grandmother. Or maybe they're keeping some Black Lodge demon from entering your home. Or maybe they're friends with the Black Lodge demon and they've invited them for 3 AM breakfast meows. Who knows? Sure, most of the time cats seem to share one communal brain cell, but that is most likely a ruse, because they are whimsical beings. There is a reason they are associated with witchcraft. It's probably a magical reason. Anyways, cat owners already know this and still love their little creepy inter-dimensional fur baby.
