The brother, is an 18-year-old college student who needs people to cosign on his student loans. The sister, is a 24-year-old undergrad who has her own student loans to pay. When their mother requests for the sister to cosign for her brother's student loans, the sister knows it could lead to a lot of future financial problems, so she refuses the request and goes as far as locking her credit to keep her mother from accessing it on her own.
