How is it that I know more about fictional planets than the actual planet I live on? Why can I name more fictional characters than real-world leaders? How is it that "Back to the Future" was able to teach me what a gigawatt was, but school didn't? How come I can't sit still for longer than 20 minutes while doing my job, but I can easily sit through the extended edition of "Lord of the Rings: Return of the King"? I seriously think I can correctly identify more alien species than actual, real animals.
If you are like me and you are more fluent in the history of Middle-earth than the history of actual Earth, if you know more about medieval weapons than contemporary weapons, these memes are for you. Just don't scroll past 88 mph, or you will travel back to the beginning of the listicle, creating a time-space paradox that would destroy the entire universe!
