There are many compromises you will have to make in order to have a healthy longterm relationship. It's up to you where you draw the line. For example, would you be willing to give up a hobby that brings you joy because you partner doesn't like it? Would you scale back on something that has greatly improved your mental health because your partner finds it annoying? Would risk losing your sole coping mechanism so your partner can become your only crutch to lean on?
When it comes to this certified plant lady, she doesn't know what to do. Her boyfriend recently asked her to move in with him, but he had one condition: get rid of the plants. She has almost 200 plants that she has raised from seedlings and clippings. Some have grown to be very tall and healthy plants. She started her green thumb activities during her lowest of lows. They helped her get through her addiction and still comfort her whenever she feels anxious or mentally unwell. But 200 plants is a lot… So she doesn't know where to draw the line. Should she give up her plants and move in with her boyfriend for something potentially even better for her mental health, or is the risk of losing her plants, her relationship, and her mental stability too high?
