Whenever you see a "best casting in movies" list, you will always find Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark somewhere at the top of the list. There is no doubt, Downey Jr. was an inspired piece of casting, but I feel like Chris Evans often gets overlooked. Chris encapsulates every characteristic Captain America has perfectly and he does that consistently throughout the entire Infinity Saga. And considering Chris was already typecast as the hunky goofball, casting him in the role of the ultimate patriotic soldier, a no-nonsense born leader, was a giant step for him.
The Captain America trilogy is probably one of the best trilogies in movie history. The first movie is a period piece with superhero elements, the second movie is a spy thriller with superhero elements, and the third is an Avengers-style, all-out superhero movie featuring one of my favorite superhero scenes of all time—the airport fight.
