This retail worker has a few satisfying stories about getting petty revenge on their worst customers.
Retail work can be an endless stream of irritating customer encounters. One customer after another comes in with silly requests or demands for items that aren't even in the store. At times like these, the only thing you can do is laugh. Or is it?…
For u/DeliciousRevenge, getting back at customers in petty ways became a habit. They also ended up targetting the most annoying customers, like the ones who peel clearance stickers off of, say, a pair of socks marked down to $2, in order to label a high-end hoodie with that discounted price. Everyone sees through this, of course, but the customer is shamelessly insisting that they found the item this way already and that they should get that discounted price. Nice try, but that just isn't going to work.
Not to mention that that same customer left a huge mess in the fitting room. This is a common way that people steal from stores: they simply rip all the tags off of the clothes they want and leave their old clothing behind. The retail workers of the world have seen this trick plenty of times, and they're the ones left cleaning up the mess.
Up next, these fast food workers shared what happened on their worst-ever days of work, like one person who admitted, "I'm surprised we didn't all quit that day."
