Hey, friends! Are you familiar with the term 'shrimping?' If not, allow us to break it down. Shrimping is when a cat's resting position visually resembles a shrimp, yes the shellfish. The cat curls its body into a ball-like shape, similar to how it might sleep.  Unlike a typical curled position, when shrimping acat stretches its hind legs straight out behind it, often extending past its head. With the body curled and legs stretched back, the overall pose resembles a shrimp, particularly before it's been cooked and straightened.
