Half a year ago, it was pretty common to plan a double date with your favorite couple only to get rain checked because they were both down bad with the flu. When you spend all day and night with someone, share food and saliva, and constantly touch the same door handles, light switches, and Sriracha bottles, it's pretty much inevitable that you and your partner will get sick at the same time. While certainly not always fun, it can be an experience that brings a couple closer together.
