Forgotten employee at big company has no boss and no work to do, collects nice paycheck for doing nothing: 'I'm riding the wave till its crests'

This dude may have found the ideal work environment. Perhaps this is one of the advantages of working for such a big company because occasionally, things fall through the cracks. That seems to be the case for this employee, who was hired six months ago by a woman whose position was subsequently eliminated right before the employee started. Well, he ended up in a reclusive office that no one ever went to and where he was completely left alone. 

Furthermore, he was given no tasks to complete. At first, he tried to rectify this by reaching out to other departments for responsibility, but they were all under the impression that he had plenty on his plate already. So now, he's riding this wave for as long as he can manage it and is collecting a sweet paycheck for lounging around and doing absolutely nothing.
