Landlords everywhere are raising the rent. Their reasoning? Rising costs, I suppose. Well, every renter that's ever forked over ½ their paycheck to a pair of greasy landlord hands knows that this is a farce. Your hard-earned paycheck is just lining the pockets of whatever landlord or leasing agency is managing your apartment–and I'd bet ½ my paycheck that, while you're paying more every month, you're likely getting far less.
For the renter in our next story, his building's transfer to a new leasing agency was the first of many huge property letdowns. In fact, after a potentially life-threatening incident, the original poster of this story stands by his two-week notice.
Scroll for the whole story of how a guy got trapped in his apartment and then abandoned by his emergency maintenance crew, only to seek revenge a few days later.
