We do everything to make our cats happy. We buy our cats expensive trees, only for our cats to sit in the boxes they came in. We buy our cats fancy cat toys, only for them to use our hair ties whenever they feel like playing. We buy our cats expensive food that they eat one time and then never touch again. We do it knowing that there is a small chance they will use it because we want to spoil them, because we want to make sure that they will be the happiest of cats.

So, we were not all that surprised to see this meme go viral on the internet. If there was ever any chance of our cat being in danger of being hurt, we too would put it in full battle armor. Because it can't hurt, right?

Really, all this proves is that people are not just obsessed with their cats now, but that we have been obsessed with our cats since furrever and always. We would go to the silliest lengths to make sure that our cat is protected. Merely the thought of how many people would have had to get injured to get that armor on the cat has us laughing.

Like- we don't even care whether this painting is actually based on a real meowment or not. It's still funny. And we choose to believe that it is based on a real moment, because, silly as this may be, we can totally see ourselves doing this for our cat under the right circumstances.
