Phone-Obsessed Student Would Rather Let Their Phone Dwindle to 0% Before Letting it Charge Across the Room

Teachers have seen it all. Like warriors returned from battle, they have flashbacks of classroom insanity, ungraded papers, and dreaded detention slip deliveries gone wrong. Although there are many shining moments of student pride and genuine happiness in class, teachers often deal with more BS than they're given credit for. In the age of cell phones, that responsibility has compounded 10-fold. 

Despite their experience with teenage dirtbags and cell phone hooligans, the teacher in our next story was flabbergasted by one student's failed logic after an incident with a phone charger. With his phone at 6% and nearly at the end of its charge, this phone-obsessed kid was still unwilling to let his phone be out of his sight for even a moment.
