Keeping up with slang is a slippery slope. One minute you have no idea what the kids are saying nowadays and the next moment you're casually throwing 'no cap' into your daily speech. How did this happen? Like the children of the 80s who couldn't resist saying 'bloodymarybloodymary' in the mirror three times at the slumber party, we can't help but slip new slang into our speech ironically. And just like that, we see things like YOLO, simp, and fam appear in the mirror before us.
The YOLOers walked so that the 'treat yoself' folks could run. But there's gotta be a better way to exclaim to the world that life is short! For those of us who are getting a little tired of sounding like a teenager, here are a few spicier ways to say that you're living life to the fullest regardless of the consequences.
