The forest floor blurs beneath your boots as you run forward at a great speed, the green branches above you covering the forest like a blanket. Thorns whip at your red velvet cloak, the rasp a desperate counterpoint to the splintering wood of the approaching monstrosity. A loud roar can be heard throughout the woods, pushing you forward. Your lungs burn, your legs ache, but fear lends them a frantic power, one you do not normally possess.
Light, a faint, ethereal blue, peeks through the dense foliage ahead. Do you dare hope? Could you find safety after all? You push through the undergrowth, heart hammering. Before you stands a towering wall of gorgeous glowing blue flowers. Not the kind that graces summer meadows, but vibrant blue blooms, their petals bright, as if someone turned on a switch. Hesitantly, you reach out and touch it with the palm of your freckled hand. Instantly, the world dissolves into a swirling vortex of bright purple light. You tumble through a sensory void, and with a gasp, find yourself solid again. What on earth…?
The air is thick with the aroma of roasting meats and barley. A warm yellow glow ahead of you unveils a wooden tavern, where surely you will find respite. Its inviting light is a beacon of safety in the storm of fear you just encountered. You stumble towards it and open the door.
Then, after this, check out this Dungeons and Dragons host who shut down the game after finding out one of the players was stealing from him.
